Domestic and International Commercial Arbitration are processes that allow the parties to submit their case to a private expert neutral tribunal (a Sole Arbitrator or a Panel of Arbitrators). Similarly, Contractual and Treaty Investment Arbitration provide foreign investors with a flexible mechanism for the resolution of disputes with host States.

Parties are bound by consent. Thus, each arbitration can be different. In most cases, the arbitral decision is confidential and final, not subject to appeal. International Arbitration offers considerable facilities in terms of enforcement of arbitral awards.
