Overview
MATA DONA accepts appointments as an arbitrator (party-appointed or sole arbitrator), working in English, French and Spanish but also on cases with significant Czech elements. MATA DONA also offers his services as accredited mediator, party counsel, co-counsel, legal advisor or litigator to individuals, SMEs, law firms, large multinationals and state entities. Furthermore, MATA DONA advises clients who want to do business or establish a company in Europe or Latin America.
MATA DONA holds a D.E.S in European and International Law from the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium. He has been trained in both, the Civil Law system and in practices frequently implemented in international arbitration related to the Common law system. Prior to setting up his independent practice in Belgium, MATA DONA worked in the Czech Republic and in Venezuela.
